We loved the personalized welcome surprise with rose petals and complimentary wine. The air conditioning was remarkably quiet, ensuring a restful night after our exploration of the vibrant city.

I was given the room facing the street on the 1st level which heard the traffic all night long with the window narrowly open. Especially in the morning with the bus stopped in front of my room. The room was stuffy and too warm with the window closed due to outside temperature was pretty warm around twenties plus celcius when we checked in the hotel around 5 pm. The room was not air-conditioned during my stay.

Hotel centrally located, both old town and shopping area easily accessible. Occasional street noise, but excellent, quiet air con (best I've ever encountered - could leave on all night without problems), so keeping windows closed not a problem. Large room, good-sized bathroom, powerful shower. Very pleasant, friendly, multi-lingual staff - cheerful and helpful. Free internet turned out to be a boon when volcanic ash threatened return flights, Didn't take the breakfast (personal dietary preferences), but it looked OK for the price.

The location makes for easy access to the sights, just minutes from the hustle of the old town. The cleanliness of the room stood out, with a cozy ambiance.
Finding the address is tricky since there's no name on the door, and getting through the front door requires a key code-lots of fumbling around when you're tired. The stairs are a pain, especially with heavy luggage, and the dimly lit hallways don't help. The breakfast offered is lackluster, mainly cereal and bread, and the room felt a bit worn out with a damp air and dark atmosphere. Plus, there's noise from the streets that makes it hard to sleep, especially if you opt for a room with a balcony.

good location
Of the four-day booking unfortunately we could not make the first night and were penalised £95 although I phoned the hotel to leave a message 48 hours beforehand on the 26th the official two-day notice had expired on the 25th which in fact is three days before the 28th. The hotel staff were unwilling to help me with this saying Booked.net would be the only one who could reimburse me my £95.

Great way to end our trip. Peaceful low cost hotel, particularly nice views, magnificent location in the city centre. Location right by a train station, the shopping mall and all the main old town restaurants. Very very helpful and top-class staff, brand-new standard studio. Delicious and savoury breakfast with lots of food options. Very good customer service provided😀

The location was ideal and close to restaurants, shopping, the train station and the bus terminal. The staff was most inviting and helpful. Our room was very spacious with an extremely quiet air conditioning unit. Each morning we were greeted with a delicious continental breakfast, a must before we set out to explore.
I wish that the hair dryer would have been more modern.

The staff were brilliant, so accomodating and friendly. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was quiet by night and nobody had any complaints about noise levels or not being able to sleep. It is extremely central to the centre of Nice and as we went on a shopping trip it was important we were located centrally. The hotel is very easily accessed from Nice airport - just hop on the 98 bus and get off at the carousel. The hotel runs along one floor only so if staying with a group chances are that you will be nearby! This suited us perfectly as there were 10 of us altogether and all our rooms were together.
The hotel is situated on the first floor and there is no lift. I would not let this influence my decision in staying at Hotel La Fayette unless you are unable to climb the stairs for any reason.
